The onboarding wizard launches automatically
After sign-up, a step-by-step setup wizard guides you through connecting your store, ad accounts, and setting product costs.
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card required.
Recommended Setup
Follow these steps to get the most out of Margyn. The setup wizard guides you through them in this order.
Regional Settings
Set your currency, timezone, and language.
- Currency: HUF, EUR, or USD (all dashboard data displays in this currency)
- Timezone: your business day aligns to this (e.g. Europe/Budapest)
- Language: dashboard display language (Hungarian or English)
Connect Your Store
Connect your store so Margyn automatically syncs your orders, products, and inventory data.
Shopify
Click "Connect" and authorize Margyn access through Shopify OAuth. No API key needed.
UNAS
Enter your UNAS API key (found in your UNAS admin: Settings → API). Margyn uses this to sync orders and products.
Synced data: orders, products, inventory levels, customer data.
Connect Meta Ads

Set Product Costs
Enter your product purchase costs so Margyn can calculate accurate profit and margins.
UNAS FIFO (automatic)
If you use a UNAS store, turn on FIFO mode — the system automatically loads purchase prices from your batches. No manual entry needed.
Manual entry
On the Cost Settings page, enter the purchase price for each product.
CSV import
Download the template, fill in purchase prices, and import it back. Faster when you have many products.
Configure Shipping & Payment Costs
Set up shipping profiles and payment processor fees for more accurate profit calculation.
- Shipping profiles: set the cost per shipping method (e.g. courier, parcel point)
- Payment fees: set your payment processor commission (e.g. card payment percentage fee)
Set Performance Targets
Set target values (ROAS, CPA, revenue) so the dashboard shows how you're performing against your goals.
- ROAS target: your target return on ad spend (e.g. 5x)
- CPA target: your maximum acceptable cost per acquisition
- Revenue target: your daily/weekly/monthly revenue goal
You don't have to set up everything at once. Margyn works with whatever data sources you've connected — you can always come back and complete the remaining steps later.
